Radiant Gear (Fabric/Forge/Quilt)
A compatibility bridge between Curios API or Trinkets API and dynamic light mods such as Dynamic Lights and Lucent.
Source-provided project description. FreeMinecraftMods keeps creator credit and adds separate compatibility and decision guidance below.
Project overview
Radiant Gear is a mod that acts as a simple compatibility bridge between Curios API or Trinkets API and dynamic light mods. With this mod, items in accessory slots will inherit the dynamic lighting behavior defined by the dynamic lighting mod. As an example, if a held torch would provide dynamic lighting, then installing this mod will cause torches placed in accessory slots to also provide dynamic lighting. Downloads Fabric 1.19 - 1.19.2 Fabric 1.19.3+ Forge Quilt Please note: This mod does NOT add any content or slots on its own. In order to gain more slots or assign items into slots, users will need to either add a mod that adds that kind of content or add it themselves through the Curios API configuration or the Trinkets API configuration . Compatible Mods Dynamic Lights Lucent Magnesium/Rubidium Dynamic Lights Ars Nouveau RyoamicLights Embeddium++ LambDynamicLights Note: This mod's sidedness depends on the dynamic lighting mod used. For example, if using Lucent then this mod is client-side only because Lucent is client-side only. On the other hand, if using Dynamic Lights then this mod is required on both client and server because Dynamic Lights is required on both as well. FreeMinecraftMods decision guide
This mod is most relevant to players looking for Utility & QoL on Forge, NeoForge, Fabric, Quilt. Treat those labels as discovery hints, then verify the exact file and dependency list on the official project page.
The latest stored update signal is Dec 28, 2024. Older projects can still work well, but they deserve extra compatibility testing before being added to a current world or public server.
What to verify before choosing a file
- Confirm that the file is published by the credited creator on the linked official source.
- Match the Minecraft version exactly instead of relying only on a broad category label.
- Read dependencies, incompatibilities, and changelog notes before updating an existing instance.
- Match the loader or server platform and its required version. Forge and NeoForge are not interchangeable.
- Back up worlds and configuration files before testing the project in a long-term save or public server.
